With a global impact driven by his emotionally exhilarating dance sound, German-Croatian DJ and producer Topic has solidified his position as a superstar in the electronic music scene. His 2019 hit "Breaking Me," featuring A7S, amassed over 6 billion streams worldwide, becoming one of the artists in the “Spotify Billions Club” and earning multi-platinum certifications in 28 countries.
In July 2024, Topic collaborated with French DJ HUGEL and British singer-songwriter Daecolm to release "I Adore You." The track became Beatport’s #1 Afro House track and Shazam’s #1 Global Dance track for several weeks and peaked in several other official and airplay charts, still maintaining a presence there, making it one of the biggest Dance hits of the year.
A reworked version of "I Adore You" was released, featuring Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin and English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding. This version introduced a new Spanish chorus by Balvin, with Goulding and Daecolm performing the original lyrics, further expanding the track's international appeal.
Describing his unique sound as "melancholic dance music," Topic has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including GRAMMY-nominated rapper Lil Baby, diamond-selling and two-5GRAMMY-nominated artist Bebe Rexha, Clean Bandit, Becky Hill and trance legend ATB, consistently delivering unforgettable results.
His accolades include Top 5 positions on the UK Official Singles Chart and the Billboard Hot 100, claimed number one spots on Mediabase U.S. Dance Radio, iTunes, and the Global Top 200 charts on both Shazam and Spotify and nominations at the MTV Europe Music Awards (2016), Teen Choice Awards (2018), Billboard Music Awards (2021), the BRIT Awards (2022) for International Song of the Year and ongoing placements in the DJ Mag Top 100.
In 2024, Topic launched his own label and party series, WILD KID, hosting events across Europe and releasing music that has received global acclaim. Whether DJing, producing, or running his label, Topic continues to push the boundaries of electronic dance music.
